Hello All,
I have installed VS 2005 beta after that when i try to launch the website its shoing me the above error.
I have windows 2003 server installed on my machine.
can anyone tell me why this error coming?
Cant theASP.NET 1.1 and ASP.NET 2.0 Co-exist?
If yes then how can i solve the above error...

Well (like it says in the message), could you post the information from the eventlog?

That will probably give you a hint of whats wrong.

I have the same configuration.
Well, they can coexist, try to restart the IIS and use the (regiis -i) from the command line in the 2.0 Framework directory.
Tell us then what happens.

In IIS i right click on website and then goto ASP.NET where i changed the version from ASP.NET 2.0 to ASP.NET 1.1 and after that its giving me that error ...but if i changed to asp.net 2.0 then it working fine...but before installing asp.net 2.0 it was working fine with asp.net 1.1 what could be the reason?
